Project Zion
“My Father David had it in mind to build a house for the name of Yahweh, Elohim of Israel”
1 Kings8:17
May the peace, love, and grace of Yahweh and his son Yahshua, shine on you and illuminate your life! Amen.
It is with hope and faith in Yahweh that we have begun Project Zion in order to focus our efforts to the goal of finding or of building a House of Worship, here in the city of Rochester, NY. We undertake this goal with the understanding that as Yahweh has blessed us, watched over us, and guided us; he is therefore worthy of our best efforts to acknowledge his holy presence in our lives.
“Happy are those who dwell in your house; they never cease to praise you!”
Psalms 84:4
As a congregation we feel strongly the need for a Temple we can call our own. A Temple where we are at liberty to fellowship, to worship, to delight in the blessing and the joy of the Holy Spirit, as our Elohim would want us to do. The task at hand might not be easy or quickly finished, but we believe that our efforts will bear blessed fruits in our lives and in the lives of those who join us in this task.
“If their hearts were stirred and they desired to do so. They brought to the Elohim their offerings of materials the Tabernacle and its furnishings and for the holy garments.”
As you read this we hope that the Holy Spirit stirs your heart to reach out and help us accomplish our goal and become part of the fellowship of Yahshua, truly a friend of Yahweh. But most of all as you read these words we would ask you that as you separate time in your day to pray that you take a moment of that time and present us the Congregation of Rochester in your prayers. Not only for our goal of a Temple, but for a blessing of growth and of guidance. Brother or sister may today and all your days be blessed days, in the name of our Father Yahweh and his Son Yahshua our Savior! Amen!
